Westlers Kono Pizza Launch

Objective
To create a bright, high-impact series of point-of-sale material to accompany the UK launch of Kono Pizza, a new product added to Westlers’ portfolio. A logo that unified the existing Italian Kono Pizza logo, with Westlers’ own was also created.

Strategy
The initial logo creation required effectively marrying two existing logos. This was done by encapsulating the Kono Pizza logo, within Westlers’ logo, which also meant that the framed nature of the new logo was now more suited to sitting on POS. From this logo, a round hanging sign, tent card and hanging banner were created that effectively conveyed the Italian heritage of the product through the use of colour.
Results
Through the high-impact branding of Westlers Kono Pizza, brand recognition and uptake have been driven across each of the two target sectors. In utilising the colours of the Italian flag, the heritage of the product has been conveyed, giving Westlers Kono Pizza a distinct USP over rival products. |
